‘The Race Returns’ in Grid 2, the sequel to the BAFTA award winning Race Driver: Grid. The platform strapline “Don't follow. Lead.” was established by the agency and I was tasked with creating and implementing the visual style. The strapline is confident and bold and I wanted the visual style to embody the same qualities. Inspired by high grade racing fuel the silver/blue colourscheme became the base palette combined with an accent red and sharp lines inspired by the rev counters of high performance supercars.
