Background
Sky Stream allows customers to stream Sky TV and much more over wifi without the need for a satellite dish. No contracts, no wires, no dishes... Sky is seeking to reinvigorate the way it provides content for the streaming generation. I put an extensive amount of development work into the dish explosion, experimenting with powder styles, particle placement and levels of destruction in order to create an eye-catching and impactful way to retire the ubiquitous satellite dish. The dish explosion formed the core element of this high profile advertising campaign. The primary formats of 48, 96 and digital 6 Sheets were resized, repurposed and rolled out across a multitude of digital and printed OOH placements as well as online and in the press.
