Background

Football Manager returns for a new season with overhauled graphics, gameplay and a host of new features. The key art sought to recreate the excitement and atmosphere of an epic cup victory. The major element was simple in its requirement but challenging to execute…. make 70 extras look like a stand packed with ecstatic fans that have just witnessed their team storm to victory. Directing the photoshoot allowed me to get the assets I needed to create the key art. Once away from the stadium and back in the studio, painstaking retouching and compositing saw the key art slowly take shape. The completed artwork is the master asset and as such is used as the pack art as well as all online advertising for the much anticipated title.
